In order to accommodate changes to NCBI logins coming up on June 1, we are changing our links to PubMed.
You will no longer be prompted to log in before going to PubMed from our site. Instead, you'll just go straight to PubMed and will only need to log in if you visit the full text of a journal we subscribe to. This login only ever affected people outside the UVM or UVMMC networks -- if you're on campus or using the VPN, you won't see anything different.
If you have our old link bookmarked, you might want to update it. The new link is https://pubmed.gov/?otool=uvmdmlib
When you go to PubMed from a Dana link (hint, PubMed has its own green button in the middle of the page), you'll see a Find It @ UVM button next to every article in your search results. Clicking this will check our subscriptions: if we have access to the journal, you'll go straight to it (and may be prompted to log in if necessary). If we don't, you'll be offered the chance to have us get you a copy from another library.
The important thing is to be sure to click on that Find It @ UVM button. If you see another button that says Full Text (but doesn't say "Free"), it probably won't work for you even if we subscribe. It won't know that you're coming from UVM, so won't give you our subscription. The Find It @ UVM button is always the safer bet.
